I envision a future where technology, including banking, will seamlessly integrate into our daily lives. In tomorrow’s world, I imagine banking being transformed by futuristic innovations available to all. Imagine kids and adults in Belize being able to manage their finances through immersive and interactive technology like holograms and advanced apps. Education will incorporate these technologies, teaching kids how to make smart financial decisions from an early age. Sending money, converting currencies, and accessing financial services, all with enhanced security, with the simple touch on a screen. AI will also play a significant role, in offering personal financial services, enhancing security measures to prevent fraud, and helping with payments. My illustration captures this vision, showing kids engaging with such technologies, and highlighting a world where banking is easier, more inclusive, and educational for everyone.

My drawing shows how kids will bank in tomorrow's world. In the future, we must erase the idea of saving in a piggy bank or stashing cash in a jar. In tomorrow's world, Belizeans will embrace the digital revolution and transition towards a cashless economy It is important to prioritize financial literacy skills for children with digital banking. Innovative banks provide cards and offer unique opportunities for children to develop money management, efficient budgeting, and smart saving habits. They also offer parental control features that allow parents to allocate funds, monitor spending, and instruct children about responsibilities and purchasing decisions. Introducing children to digital banking at an early age provides them with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions. It equips them with tools to navigate the cashless economy efficiently and fosters financial independence, responsibility, and resilience when faced with financial challenges.

This art depicts how kids will bank in tomorrow's world as we can have more advanced methods for children to manage their own money so that they grow up to be responsible, wise, and independent about their own money. As we know, kids are not prepared to manage their finances, for this reason, adults should be around to guide them or give them life experience in either working or winning their own money. Include financial guidance and lectures, e.g. role-playing or school expo activities, to teach children to spend wisely and save effectively for good benefits. Gaming tournaments focus on kids' love for games to give them financial skills, while online banking offers a digital piggy bank with restricted spending and parental guidance on saving methods. Therefore, this can cause a change in kids’ education about what not to do and what to do for financial purposes.

As we move into a technological-driven world, I see kids using technology in a manner many only dreamt of or see in the movies. Banks will be one of a kind where children will have the opportunity to bank through secure digital platforms. They will embrace these experiences which will also assist and teach them financial literacy from an early age. This will be with the help of AI assistants, smart watches, or phones. Biometrics security will be vital to protect users' information.

Moreover, parents will have tools to monitor and foster children's responsibility with their financial practice. Overall integration of advanced technology and interactive educational tools will empower kids to save and invest intelligently and confidently in a cash-less interconnected world. There will be no need to be present at the banks. This is how we will be “building the future together.”

This art shows a future in which student transitions are facilitated by smartwatches and student IDs with embedded chips, as electronic banking permeates retail and educational environments, the thought of traditional piggy banks becomes outdated. With a single tap or swipe, students may easily purchase meals, transportation, textbooks, or pay for fees, this push results in parents making children accountable for their spending habits so that they can save rather than spend. The work provides thought about the shift to a cashless world and what it means for the future of the younger generation.

How kids will bank into tomorrow's world

In a world of rapid change, young people need the right mix of skills to thrive. Our parents always encourage us to study, save, take care of the environment, etc. My painting shows how kids pass various stages in life and their accomplishments. They may face obstacles but from there we learn and keep on trying. Banking into tomorrow's world is a goal that benefits us in many ways when we become adults. We will be well prepared to face all the challenges and changes life may bring us.

Finance will always be a huge part of our planet as it assists us in every aspect of our daily life. Our future kids will be the ones to provide us with a better and safer tomorrow. It is important for us as teens to work and be successful. My artwork represents how we as kids will bank in tomorrow's world. Colorfulness has a way of obtaining your energy and sense of identity as shown in the drawing. We as adolescents should learn how to manage and save our money. The individuals in the shop show how from a small business you can obtain good money and become a businessperson. Also how to be an independent person. We are the future of tomorrow.

My name is Jayven Young, and I attend Edward P. Yorke High School. My artwork represents my vision of how technology will shape the future of banking for kids. I wanted to illustrate the exciting possibilities that lie ahead as traditional banking tools evolve with advanced technology. I was inspired by the rapid advancements we see around us, from accessible and engaging.

The central figure in my drawing is a humanoid robot, which I included to signify how AI could automate and personalize banking processes, making them more efficient and secure. The person wearing VR goggles highlights my fascination with virtual reality and its potential to create immersive, interactive banking experiences. I also drew digital devices like tablets and computers to show the shift from physical to digital banking, reflecting how we increasingly rely on online platforms for managing our finances.

Through this artwork, I aimed to convey a seamless future for banking, driven by innovative technology and designed to make fiscal management more engaging and secure for kids like me.

The future is full of many different technologies, where digital piggy banks could be the norm, and everything requires money. That is why you need to save for the future. My drawing illustrates a future mindset where a kid starts saving money from an early age and saves money from doing chores/jobs. With her savings she creates a college savings account, can then graduate college with those savings and grows up, creating a successful future.

Hence, the importance of banking and saving money. By introducing the values of financial literacy early on, we can empower the next generation to make informed decisions and achieve their dreams. So, if children grow up with a solid foundation on the importance of saving money they will have a successful future.

Crissy Isabella Avilez's winning artwork

My artwork revolved around the central idea of transformation. This is the future of banking and the doors available in advancing the banking experiences for our future kids to use. Today, we have evolved to have the chance to bank online. However, tomorrow's world has endless possibilities to elevate banking. The ideas of our future kids joining banks, building more physical bank firms, or learning how to save all aid the initiative to boost our economy as shown on the left.

The future can entail using digital watches to perform transactions, making use of AI assistance, chat boxes for open-ended advice, in-call AI guidance assistance for securing online transactions, using chip or microchips to aid portability, scanning QR codes linked to one account for ease of payment or even possibly investing in fully digital wallets. Technology can elevate our kids’ banking experiences in tomorrow’s world.

Kids will bank in the future using a digital currency and would reduce the need for branches and ATMs, reducing the risk of carrying cash. People will manage their own money and pay less fees. People would do all their banking from the comfort of their phones. It would have features for easy and effective money management, including making deposits, purchases and payments. The app would educate kids and teens about money management. This would be secure from cybercrimes like hacking and scamming. This currency would change the way kids bank in tomorrow's world.

We know how quickly technology advances every day and with innovation, we can see how banking can be more efficient and effective for our future generation. My painting portrays hybrid ATMs shaped like androids. These ATMs would be strategically placed in each community and customers would have the option to choose a teller or simply use the ATM. The painting also depicts wearable devices like watches and bracelets that will specifically be tailored for banking purposes like checking balances or transferring money. The best technology of all would be a ring that projects holographic tellers. Imagine being on vacation and wanting to apply for a mortgage. With one simple click, you can speak with your personalized teller. Lastly, it shows watches that can scan items when shopping and it automatically deducts it from your account. This painting signifies making the impossible possible. It signifies a new age for our generation.

How kids will bank in tomorrow’s world. I think that because of the use of technology at an early age kids are going to be more connected to the banking world, because they can have easy access to online banking through apps like the Atlantic Bank app. Family and friends can make direct transfers and deposits in the kids' account, encouraging the good habit of savings to accomplish their dreams.
