Your Chip and Contactless debit card provides an alternative payment method to cash or cheques when making purchases and payments. It can be used anywhere the logo is displayed as well as online, locally. Each time you perform a transaction, funds are automatically withdrawn from either your savings or chequeing account. Your card can also be used to withdraw cash from any of our 21 ATMs.

How It Works

Your chip and contactless card contains an embedded chip that generates a unique one-time code each time you perform a transaction. This code ensures your payments are secure and your information is protected. Using your Chip and Contactless debit card is faster than making a trip to the bank, easier than writing a cheque and safer than holding cash, just insert or tap your card or use it online to make payments!

    • FREE cash withdrawals and perform balance inquiries at any Atlantic Bank ATM.
  • Use it online for

How to perform transactions:

  • Make purchases and payments

    		•

    Chip Transactions:

    Insert your card, face up and chip first into the chip-enabled terminal, follow the prompts and sign your receipt.

    Be sure to remove your card and take your receipt when the transaction is complete.

    Contactless Transactions:

    Look for the Contactless Symbol at checkout. Tap your card on the POS terminal, wait for the beep and you are ready to go.

    NOTE: If a merchant does not have a chip-enabled terminal, you will be required to swipe your card to make your purchase.

     

     

    Online Transactions:

    Look for the logo online. Follow the instructions to
    perform payments or purchases on local websites.

  • Perform ATM transactions

    ATM Transactions:

    For Atlantic Bank ATMs insert and remove your card, the ATM will then ask that you reinsert your card and leave it in until your transaction is completed.

    NOTE: 

    • You can also perform balance inquiry and do quick cash withdrawals ($20.00, $40.00, $60.00, $80.00, $100.00, $200.00, $300.00) at any of our ATMs.

  • Access AtlaXpress services

    AtlaXpress Transactions Available:

    Visit participating AtlaXpress Merchants and present your debit card along with a valid ID to conduct your banking transactions:

    • Bill Payments
    • School Payments
    • Credit Card Payments
    • Transfer Between Accounts 
    • Withdrawals (maximum of $300.00 per day)
    • Balance Inquiry
    • Phone Recharge
